The Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards – DIAFA is a high-end and prestigious Red Carpet and Awards Ceremony held annually in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, that aims at honoring distinguished personalities, entities and companies, both regionally and globally, in recognition of their achievements and contributions towards committees and society’s betterment.

Each year’s honorees are chosen by a qualified committee formed of 25 journalists and media entities from the Arab region and the World, selected from various fields such as music, arts, culture, economy, business, entrepreneurship, journalism, success stories, humanitarian services and others.

The 6^th edition of DIAFA was attended by HH Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum as that year’s Guest of Honor, receiving the honorary award during the opening of the awards ceremony.

Presented by Shine Entertainment, DIAFA has successfully achieved seven editions of this star-studded festival since 2017. The 7^th edition of DIAFA, hosted by Kris Fade & Noha Nabil, was held on the 22^nd of November 2023 in Festival Bay, and in collaboration with Al Futtaim Group, Dubai Festival City Mall, Sobha Realty and 7 Production.

DIAFA dedicated each edition to a past icon from the Arab World, with the latest 7^th edition being dedicated to the Lady of the Arabic Screen, Egyptian cinema icon, Faten Hamama, while being broadcasted live on 10 regional TV Channels and streaming platforms.
